In recent years, I’ve had a growing sense of longing to connect more deeply with the rhythm and holiness of the advent season.  I’ve known for a while that something was off during the month of December. I found myself quickly could losing focus on the significance of all that was around me and I’d allowed obligations and bedlam to take up residence in my soul during this beautiful season.  I invite you to join me in spending each of the 31 days of December striving to know the ways of God more fully and to learn more about the astonishing gift of his son Jesus and all the good gifts He pours out for us if we simply take the time to pay attention.
