About Michele

Michele’s passion is for gathering people together and helping them to discover themselves, one another and God more fully - she believes if everyone were working on these three things we would have a world where everyone flourished! Michele gathers people in all the places - around a table, for dinner and compelling conversations, on the shores of Galilee in Israel, under a mango tree in East Africa, or on the rooftop of a guest house on the noisiest street corner in all of Port-au-Prince, Haiti.

Michele currently works on the Executive Team of The Flourish Collective as the Managing Director. The Flourish Collective is, a Giving Community of Aspiring allies committed to Learn, Give, and Live Out Racial Justice. She worked in Young life for 25+ years and served at the National Director of Amicus, Young Life’s International Student Exchange Program and their short term service division, Expeditions.

She's also owned Crème Fraîche Catering, worked in corporate marketing, served in the local church, starting ministries for Mothers and kids, and leads Sunday morning liturgy each month. She's a founding board member of several community and international non-profits.

She's penned many articles on parenting, featured in parenting newspapers and magazines both globally and in the United States. She’s the author of To My Friend - Reflections on Motherhood and Thirty-One Gifts.

Michele's has spoken to small and large groups for over two decades.  She can give a relevant messages to high school kids, a Sunday sermon from the pulpit, lead an interactive discussion with Moms of young kids, or facilitate leadership workshops all around the world.

Michele has been married to Tony for 35 years and it keeps getting better! She’s been Momma to Riley for 32 years and Casey 30 years. She’s beyond thrilled to get to be a second Mom to Alison, Riley’s wife of 4 years and Megan, Casey’s wife  These people continually bring her an endless supply of pride, joy, delight, and a healthy dose of humility! She’s never lacked fodder for speaking or writing topics due to the cast of characters she calls family!
